International Relations-Mathematics Major Takes the Technos Prize
 Andrea Jenkins '13, of Fairview Heights, Ill., has traveled to Europe, Asia and South America, always
                           eager to try new experiences and broaden her international horizons. Therefore it
                           was not too surprising when she was asked to come forward and accept the 2013 Technos
                           International College Prize. Sponsored by the Tanaka Ikueikai Educational Trust to
                           foster multi-cultural awareness, it is given to a graduating senior chosen by the
                           faculty for outstanding academic performance and abiding commitment to international
                           understanding.

Annie (as she was better known on campus) graduated cum laude with a degree in international relations and mathematics on the finance-actuary track. She was active with the campus Green Team environmental
                           group, the International Student organization, Rotoract and the Campus Activities Board. She has been accepted to graduate school and plans to secure employment abroad,
                           aspiring to work someday for the United Nations.
