Meal Plan Change Request

Interested in a different meal plan? Students are permitted to change their plan until the posted date for each semester. If you'd like to make a change to your plan, use the Meal Plan Change Request form.

Munch Money

Students who are not on a meal plan, but want the convenience of using their McKendree ID for meals on campus, can add Munch Money to their account. Students must visit the Dining Services website to purchase Munch Money, and receive a 5-10% bonus on their purchase! Students on a meal plan may also purchase Munch Money. Your Flex will be used first and Munch Money can roll over to the next semester, though not the next academic year.

1828 Meal Exchange

Meal exchange is new this year at McKendree.  It only applies to those on a 15 meal plan and 19 meal plan.  Meal exchange effectively extends lunch to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and dinner until 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday at 1828 Cafe.  If a student misses lunch or dinner on these days and is on the 15 meal plan or 19 meal plan, they can go to 1828 Cafe during the extended hours and use a "meal swipe" to order off the meal exchange menu.  Meal exchange begins after Ames closes, so lunch is 1:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m. and dinner is 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

Sack Lunch To-Go

Another option for students on any meal plan who find it difficult to get to Ames is the sack lunch.  They must go to 1828 Cafe at least a day in advance and fill out a sack lunch form.  They can request what time to pick it up during regular 1828 Cafe hours and use a "meal swipe."  They can set up reoccurring sack lunches throughout the semester if they always have a conflict on Wednesday for example.

Lebanon Food Pantry

The Lebanon Food Pantry is located at 108 East Dee St. and can provide students with additional food and/or toiletries on a once per month basis, free of charge. Students are required to bring their McKendree student ID and a piece of mail showing their on-campus address to be approved to use the pantry. The Pantry can be contacted at 618-808-0600.

The Lebanon Food Pantry is open:

Tuesdays & Thursdays at 1:00 - 3:00PM

Saturdays at 9:00-11:00am
