All students should refer to the following steps for successful entry into the McKendree University Department of Music and/or the McK Athletic Bands Program.

Audition Checklist

 

1.  Apply and be accepted to McKendree University

2. Read the Audition Requirements and download Required Music PDF's

3. Submit an online Music Audition Request

4. Prepare for your performance! Your final step will be auditioning for the McKendree Music Faculty.

NOTE: After your Music Audition Request has been received, further information about scheduling will be sent in an email at least 1 week prior to auditions. 

It is extremely important that you read the requirements provided in your confirmation e-mail and meet each requirement in your audition. If you have any questions about a requirement, please contact us immediately. Shortly after your audition, you will be notified via ‘snail-mail’ of your admission status within the Department of Music. Scholarship award amounts should go out from the Office of Financial Aid beginning in early April.
