Our Mission
The Office of Residence Life plays a vital role in supporting the academic mission
of McKendree University by creating an atmosphere that encourages personal, social,
and academic development. We will promote a clean, safe, well-maintained living environment
that allows students the opportunity to study and learn about living in a community.
We will foster self-responsibility, trust, and respect for others and provide an
atmosphere which is comfortable and accepting. The Residence Life program is designed
to promote the holistic development of students through both planned and spontaneous
activities.
