Daylor Retirement
Mary Frances Daylor retired on Aug. 31 after serving as McKendree’s Director of Health
Services since 1979. At her farewell reception, Mary Frances poignantly recalled her
first moments on campus. Due to the stairs being repaired in Pearsons Hall, she had
to climb up the fire escape and through an open window—in a dress—for her interview.
This was just one of many interesting moments she experienced in her 32 years on campus.
