Deficiencies for Elementary Education


The MAT Elementary licensure program requires students to have undergraduate coursework completed, with a C or better, in the following areas:

  • ENG 111 and 112 (or equivalent),
  • Algebra and Statistics,
  • Four social sciences in four different areas, and
  • Three sciences (physical, earth/space, and biological), one with +a lab.

Your transcripts will be reviewed for any deficiencies you may have after your admission file is complete.
