The accounting field is one of the fastest growing in education and business. Our
accounting program will give you the background and knowledge for career advancement
as well as success in the CPA exam. You’ll have the opportunity to assess ethical
situations in a team environment while developing balance sheets, income statements,
cash flow statements and statements of changes in owners’ equity.
You’ll learn how to make decisions about:
• The presentation of financial data
• The analysis of managerial and cost data
• The preparation of personal and simple business tax returns
A minor in Accounting is also available.
Employment
Our accounting curriculum is designed to prepare you for a career in various areas
of corporate, government and not-for-profit accounting, such as auditing, cost and
managerial accounting, personal finance, and tax planning.
