What is Phishing?
Tips to Avoid Phishing Attacks:
1) NEVER send your password out in an email.
2) If you are not expecting to receive an email from a campus department or someone you know, do NOT click on any links.
3) If you receive an email asking you to verify your account, hover over the link to reveal the URL. Do NOT click the link unless it goes to a URL that you trust.
** If you think you may have fallen for a phishing scam, change your password immediately! Then contact the IT HelpDesk.
