Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation Scholarship for Service
• Undergraduate seniors pursuing degrees in math, science, engineering and computer science. Applicants must be U.S. citizen at time of application, able to participate in summer internships at DoD laboratories, willing to accept post-graduate employment with the DoD.
• A student in good standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and, and pursuing an undergraduate major in math, science, engineering and computer science.
SMART Scholars receive full tuition and educational fees, a generous cash stipend, employment with Department of Defense facilities after graduation, and summer internships, health insurance, in addition to a book allowance.
