McKendree SGA Executives

Meet the members for 2025–2026

At McKendree University, the Student Government Association (SGA) comprises two main components: the Executive Board and the Senate. While each has distinct roles and responsibilities, they collectively form the Student Government Association (SGA), serving as the unified body representing the undergraduate student population.

Executive Board: The Executive Board includes positions such as President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Parliamentarian, and Public Relations Officer. These officers are responsible for the administration and operation of the SGA, overseeing committees, managing finances, and representing the student body to the university administration and external entities.

Senate: The Senate consists of elected representatives from each undergraduate class, commuter students, international students, and non-traditional students. Senators are tasked with voicing the concerns of their constituents, participating in committees, and contributing to the legislative functions of the SGA.

Together, the Executive Board and the Senate collaborate to enact policies, allocate funds, and organize events that enhance the student experience at McKendree University. This collaborative structure ensures that a diverse range of student voices are heard and represented in university governance.

In accordance with the SGA Constitution, Senate elections for class representatives, commuter students, international students, and non-traditional students will be held in September. These elected student leaders will join the Executive Board to form the full Student Government Association's general assembly, working together to advocate for student interests, develop campus initiatives, and shape university policy.
