The mission of the McKendree University Career Services Office is to:
• Give our students the opportunity to become actively involved in developing their
                           career by providing a variety of training activities, programs, and services that
                           support the goals of our students and McKendree University
• Encourage students to take initiative and be active in developing their career,
                           using Career Services to help guide them towards success in a career and our society
                           as a whole
• Help students understand that developing a career path is truly a life-long process
Graduates from McKendree University work in a variety of settings after graduation,
                           including large corporations, small businesses, schools, hospitals, government agencies,
                           and non-profit organizations, among others. The Career Outcomes Rate for the Class
                           of 2024 is 97% for undergraduates and 97% for graduates, as determined through a survey
                           that is distributed to all students before and after graduation. The survey results
                           also found that 44% of undergraduate and 5% of graduate students immediately continued
                           their education by going on to graduate and professional schools in law, business,
                           medicine, psychology, sociology, and communication, among others.  Our knowledge rate
                           (Career Outcomes information known) for 2024 undergraduates is 84% and for graduates
                           is 89%.
