A state public health law requires that the immunization portion of the physical be completed and signed by a physician and that all updates of necessary immunizations be noted. The law does not apply to students born before 1957. Students will not be permitted to attend classes or move into the residence halls until this requirement is met.”
Students may obtain their immunization records from their physician, high school, or university/college previously attended. If immunization records are not available then students must receive the titer blood test which shows proof of immunity to MMR and show proof of the DT booster received within the last 10 years.
Comprehensive counseling services are offered for students free of charge during the academic year. The counseling service at McKendree is totally confidential and provided by a licensed professional clinical staff.
