Within this diversity, we seek to provide a safe, supportive space for growth and development through religious, spiritual, ethical and character development within the McKendree community. We promote understanding and appreciation of the various traditions through educational and cultural programming and a wide range of activities including: worship, educational events, cross-cultural programs, immersion, service, mission trips that enrich students’ hearts and minds. We also seek to celebrate our differences and foster McKendree students who will be effective and compassionate global citizens who seek to be people of good will. Welcome to McKendree!

Student Affairs
At McKendree University, we believe that every student has a limitless potential for growth, and our student services are designed to provide all students with the special support they need to achieve their goals. McKendree stresses the importance of intellectual development which is promoted through instruction and study in carefully integrated curricula.
However, at McKendree learning isn't limited to the classroom. In providing a variety of services and programs, the University strives to create a community where intellectual, social, personal, spiritual, and ethical growth is encouraged and supported. The University community is organized to identify and to respond to student needs while simultaneously creating opportunities for students to join in a community of citizen-scholars. In such a setting, the most important ingredient is the individual, an individual who is committed to challenging him/herself and who demonstrates respect for others."
