Community & Alumni Patrons

Holman Library extends benefits and privileges to alumni and community members living within Lebanon city limits. These benefits include borrowing books and media from our physical location but do not extend to I-Share or interlibrary loan services. Books may be checked out for 4 weeks with 3 renewals. Benefits also include computer use and access to research databases at our physical location. Printing services are not provided.

 

Renewals

Most library materials can be renewed three times, and then they must be returned or brought physically in to circulation for renewal. Renewals may be limited if an item is recalled. Holman Library materials and materials loaned through I-Share member libraries may be renewed online through the I-Share account system: https://i-share.carli.illinois.edu/vf-mck/MyResearch/Home

Exceptions: Course reserves and laptops may not be renewed, but may be checked out again after a loan period has passed.

 

Fines & Fees

Library materials that are lost or overdue may be subject to fines and fees. Short-term items such as course reserves, laptops, and other visual/media materials accrue hourly fines if not returned by their due date. All items that are marked as lost are subject to a $10 processing fee and a $50 replacement fee. I-Share or interlibrary loan related fines and fees must be negotiated with the lending library.
