Academy of Excellence Nomination Form
The McKendree University Alumni Association annually seeks and accepts nominations
of alumni for the McKendree Alumni Awards. The selection is made from candidates who
have distinguished themselves in the areas of athletics, in their professions, or
whose dedication and volunteer commitment has significantly enhanced the goals and
mission of the University and the McKendree Alumni Association.
Please note that it is necessary that an award recipient be able to attend the Alumni
Awards Dinner during the Homecoming weekend, which will be held on October 21st, 2023.
All nominations must be received by April 15th, 2023, to be eligible for this year’s awards. Award nominations are welcome throughout the
year preceding the deadline.
Academy of Excellence Alumni Awards
These awards are presented to alumni who through achievement, leadership and character,
have made exceptional contributions to the honor and prestige of McKendree University.
These awards are presented to individuals who in their professions, or chosen fields,
have demonstrated in their daily lives the values imparted through a liberal arts
education.
Recognition will be given in eight fields of endeavor as shown below.
