Director of Bowling
McKendree University is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a full-time Director of Bowling. The Director oversees the Men’s and Women’s Bowling programs, always adhering to the policies and procedures set forth by McKendree University, the Athletics Department, the NCAA, and the conference for which his/her sport is affiliated. The Director maintains overall responsibility for all aspects of recruiting quality student-athletes to McKendree University in compliance with the NCAA for the bowling program.
A bachelor’s degree is required, master’s is preferred. Previous experience coaching elite athletes in a highly competitive bowling program is also preferred. Must possess the ability to develop and manage a collegiate program including the ability to recruit under highly selective academic standards. A working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is required. Solid administrative and personal skills and the ability to work with a culturally diverse population are also required. The ability to work a non-standard work week which may include nights, weekends and holidays.
