Faculty Manual
The By-Laws of McKendree University authorize the faculty “to prepare and maintain
a Faculty Manual governing the teaching operation of the faculty and academic affairs
of McKendree University, subject to the policies set forth by the Board of Trustees.”
This manual has been approved and accepted as policy by the Board of Trustees; revisions
may be made in accord with the provisions in Section 1.6.
Citation to, reproduction of, or adaptation of policies, statements, recommended institutional
regulations, or procedures of or recommended by the American Association of University
Professors shall not constitute and shall not be construed as adoption of the American
Association of University Professors’ intent, interpretation or amendment of such
policies, statements, recommended institutional regulations or procedures, or of other
policies, statements, recommended institutional regulations or procedures, or of the
American Association of University Professors’ intent, interpretation, or amendment
thereof.
