Practicum Supervisor

McKendree University’s Professional Counseling Program seeks applications for a 12-month part-time (20 hours per week) practicum supervisor position. The candidate selected for this position will (a) supervise the skill development of students in a counseling practicum course, and (b) teach three additional classes per year (Fall, Spring, & Summer) as assigned.

Qualifications: doctorate in Counselor Education is highly desired; minimum of a master’s degree in counseling is required with one-year graduate teaching experience. Licensed as a clinical professional counselor (LCPC) or alcohol and drug certification (CADC) is required. Applicants must have advanced knowledge of group theory, group counseling skills, career theory and assessments, DSM 5, and substance abuse. Proficiency in Blackboard is desired.
