Part-Time Instructor for World History, Early Modern Europe

McKendree University is seeking qualified individuals to teach World History surveys as well as an upper-level course in Early Modern Europe at its Lebanon, Illinois Campus. McKendree is located in the St. Louis Metro area, approximately 20 miles east of downtown.

A Master’s degree and prior teaching experience is required; a doctoral degree in History is preferred.  Qualified applicants should be able to provide instruction in survey-level World History courses both to and since 1450, and/or teach upper level course in European History 1450-1815; teach courses in traditional and/or online formats; hold scheduled office hours; conduct evaluation of student learning; and maintain appropriate documentation.
