Head Women's Lacrosse Coach

McKendree University, an NCAA Division II institution and member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference, is seeking applications for the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach position.  The successful candidate will oversee the recruitment of prospective student-athletes, the physical and technical training of student-athletes, responsible for the scheduling of competitions, team travel arrangements and the team’s annual budget. Must adhere to and follow all University, GLVC and NCAA guidelines and policies, as well as a commitment to the student-athlete’s academic and athletic success. Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred. Previous experience coaching elite athletes in a highly competitive lacrosse program is also preferred. Must possess the ability to develop and manage a collegiate program including the ability to recruit under highly selective academic standards. A working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is required. Solid administrative and personal skills and the ability to work with a culturally diverse population are also required. The ability to work a non-standard work week which may include nights, weekends and holidays is mandatory.
