Head Track and Field and Cross Country Coach

McKendree University is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as the head coach for men’s and women’s track and field and cross country.  The Bearcats compete as a member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference.   Minimally, the successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and will have experience coaching at the collegiate level.  The head coach will be responsible for recruiting student-athletes to participate at the NCAA Division II level, managing an operational budget, planning practices and meets, monitoring academic progress of student-athletes, and maintaining compliance with all NCAA Division II guidelines and regulations.  Travel and weekends will be required.
