Full-time Graduate Assistant - Marching Bearcat Band

McKendree University is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to serve as a full-time graduate assistant as Percussion Instructor for the Marching Bearcat Band. This position will start on August 1, 2018. The full-time position requires 40 hours of work per week.

The graduate assistant will provide percussion instruction for the Marching Bearcat Band Front Ensemble and Drumline. Optimally the GA will also arrange percussion parts for both sections and assist in percussion recruitment as well as assisting the Director of Athletic Bands with developing promotional and marketing materials, planning and hosting events, recruiting prospective marching band students, managing social media, and other duties as assigned. Candidates from all academic areas are welcome to apply. 

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and acceptance into a master’s degree program at McKendree University are required.
