Graduate Assistant: Athletic Equipment Management

McKendree University, a member NCAA DII and the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), is seeking a graduate assistant for equipment operations within the athletics department.  Responsibilities would include assisting the equipment manager in all areas of equipment management such as daily management operations of equipment rooms, overseeing preparation, distribution, and return of uniforms, apparel, and athletic equipment, laundry, assisting in protective equipment fittings, setting up facilities for home athletic events, building and processing orders, keeping track of inventory, and other duties as assigned.  This 10-month position (August 1st through May 31st) includes a monthly stipend and tuition waiver.

Qualifications require admission in a McKendree University Master’s program, AEMA certification (near completion will be considered), must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable, ability to work nights and weekends, computer proficiency in Excel, Word, and social media platforms, strong communication skills, and ability to prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.
