Executive Assistant to the President

McKendree University seeks applications for the position of Executive Assistant to the President.  The successful candidate will work closely with the President, President’s Cabinet and Board of Trustees.  Duties will include event planning; managing department budgets, reports, correspondence, and minutes; and planning, coordinating, and attending meetings of the Board of Trustees, and Board committees.  The position is one of high-level trust that requires integrity and confidentiality. This is a role for an experienced individual with a wide range of skills and responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of progressive experience in higher education administration or the corporate sector working with executive-level administrators; ability to interact effectively with individuals; outstanding writing and editing skills; and excellent organizational and communication skills.
