Coordinator of Annual Giving & Advancement Services

McKendree University is seeking a Coordinator of Annual Giving and Advancement Services to join the Office of Development, Alumni and Parent Relations team.  This individual will have distinct responsibilities within annual giving and advancement services that include data entry and the creation and implementation of broad-based solicitation methods.  These methods includes; Phonathon, direct mail, e-communications, some personal solicitation and other creative uses of technology to increase total annual gift revenue.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and see projects through to a timely completion, have a strong knowledge of MS Office programs, and be able to work effectively in an office environment.  The individual must excel in creativity, initiative and independence in carrying out responsibilities. Strong oral and written communication skills is a must.

A Bachelor’s degree is required.  Experience working with higher education and/or annual giving is a plus.  Some evening and weekend work required.
