Assistant Professor of Nursing

McKendree University seeks two full-time, tenure-track faculty positions in the Division of Nursing to begin in Fall 2020.  McKendree University offers a RN to BSN program, a MSN program with nurse educator, nurse manager/administrator, and population health tracks, and a DNP program in ethical leadership.  The successful candidates will participate in all three programs.

The positions require a doctoral degree in nursing or a related field (if doctoral degree is in a related field, master’s degree must be in nursing), at least five years of clinical practice, and a current, unencumbered Illinois RN license.

Classes are taught at various campuses throughout southern Illinois including community colleges and hospitals, as well as online. Preference will be given to those who have experience teaching in an online format and two years’ experience in nursing education.
