Assistant Professor of Sociology

McKendree University seeks to fill a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sociology position in the Division of Social Sciences to begin Fall 2019. 

Applicants must have an earned doctoral degree in sociology or closely related discipline with demonstrated excellence in teaching.  We seek candidates with expertise in the study of race and ethnicity.  We particularly encourage applicants with interests such as: Latinx studies, intersectionality, immigration, social justice, and/or public sociology.  The teaching responsibilities will be four courses per semester. ABD candidates will be considered, but degree must be completed by start date.
