Admission Counselor - Online Programs
McKendree University welcomes applications for an Admission Counselor responsible
for the recruitment of online programs. Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate
Admission, the Admission Counselor for online programs is an essential and active
member of the Admission team. This person will be responsible for the development
of recruiting strategies, local travel, application review, and providing follow-up
to students concerning admission, financial aid and registration matters.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service and strong organizational
skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently while also
being a team player, have the energy and flexibility to coordinate multiple assignments,
and work under pressure in a demanding, goal-driven environment. The position may
require some evening work as well as occasional local travel.
A bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license are required. At least one year of
higher education admission or related work experience is preferred. Salary and benefits
