Academic Resource Coordinator

McKendree University is seeking an Academic Resource Coordinator at its Lebanon, Illinois campus. 

The Academic Resource Coordinator performs a range of administrative functions that support the Student Success and Advising Center’s programs. The person in this position will coordinate accommodations for students with disabilities; to coordinate tutoring and supplemental instruction; to provide one-on-one student interventions. This position will conduct intake interviews, determine eligibility for accommodations, coordinate and implement approved accommodations, as well as serve as a resource for disability-related matters through attending orientation, open houses, departmental meetings, and high school college/university fairs. This role will coordinate and implement educational programs and collaborate with other campus departments to integrate disability-related competencies into educational programming.  

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Higher Education, Psychology, Sociology or other related field and two to four years of progressively responsible experience in a college or university related directly to academic support and retention initiatives, underserved students, and experience working with students with disabilities and managing accommodations.
