Student Government Association

The McKendree University Student Government Association is the representative voice of the student body. Student Government Association serves three primary roles: to distribute funds to registered student organizations, to sponsor campus events and initiatives, and to promote communication between the students, faculty, and administration. Our meetings are held every Monday night at nine in Piper Academic Center and are open to the public.

Message from the President

McKendree University’s Student Government acts as the voice between the student population and the administration. We pride ourselves on patiently listening to students and swiftly turning ideas into reality. Every member of SGA is an active piece of the campus community and we are always open to suggestions and comments. Please feel free to browse over our website and familiarize yourself with the Executive Board, Senators, and SGA schedule as well as leave any suggestions for future projects in the “Got a Gripe” section of our site. Are you interested in becoming part of SGA to help us help your peers? Contact sga@mckendree.edu with your inquiries and I will happily inform you regarding how to get involved.

We exist solely to implement change on the behalf of the entire student body. Therefore, we are more than willing to tackle any issue students bring to us. Over the past several years, SGA has implemented many improvements in and around the McKendree University campus environment. We strive to continue this progress and improve ourselves with time to effectively and efficiently listen to the students.

Thanks for visiting our SGA website. If at any time you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to email the SGA email account at sga@mckendree.edu.
