                Steps …

The ideal time to start the application process is one semester prior to when you anticipate attending McKendree.  Students seeking admission to McKendree University must apply through the Office of Admission. To be considered for admission, an applicant must complete the following steps:

Ø      Visit Campus.  Visiting a college campus is often times the best way to determine if a school is the right fit.  Contact your admission counselor to set up an individual visit.

Ø      Apply.  Complete and submit a free, on-line application or submit a paper copy with a $40 non-refundable application fee. You will also need to submit the following:

o       All College and University transcripts

o       High School transcript or GED

o       Note:  Official transcripts are required from each individual school where credits were attempted.

Ø      File the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). File as soon after January 1 of the year you plan to attend McKendree. Contact the financial aid office or your admission counselor for more information regarding the financial aid process. Be sure and list McKendree’s school code which is 001722.

Ø      Make that decision. Sign and return the letter of intent along with your tuition deposit.

o       $200 non-refundable tuition deposit for all commuters

o       $400 non-refundable tuition and room damage deposit for all residents

Ø      Register and attend a transfer orientation session (dates will be announced soon).
