McK 101
McK 101 is YOUR first step in becoming a McKendree student. This summer orientation program for first-year students is designed to help YOU start your McKendree experience.
McK 101 — Only the Beginning...
Please complete the following if you are ready to attend McK 101:
1. Submit your non-refundable deposit ($200 commuter and $400 resident)
2. Choose a McK 101 session that works best for you.
McK 101 Session Dates
· Saturday, April 19
· Saturday, May 17
· Friday, June 20
· Friday, July 18
All sessions will run from 9:00 to 3:30.
Who can attend?
McK 101 is for first-year students and their families that have completed the McKendree application process:
1. Submitted an official application
2. Submitted all supporting documents: Official Transcripts, ACT Scores, etc.
3. Been admitted to the College
Student Program
‘101’ peer leaders will guide you through the program. These leaders are excited about working with you and being a part of your orientation experience. They will help you with the following:
· Register for classes (your faculty mentor will also be present)
· Get your McK ID and Parking Pass
· Complete IT tasks (e-mail, etc.)
· Prepare for New Student Orientation
Family Program
Family members will also be assisted by ‘101’ leaders throughout this special program. They will get the opportunity to gain knowledge from the following support offices:
· Health Services
· Financial Aid
· Business Office
· Public Safety
