About Us

The mission of McKendree University is summed up in three simple words - “Make Your Mark.” As parents we want the best for our children. You’ve prepared them well for their McKendree experience - with their hard work, and your continued support they’ll soon head out into the world to make that mark.

Here in the Parent Relations Office we recognize that parents play a critical role in their student’s University experience. Our goal is to offer you meaningful ways to engage in the life of the University in whatever way works best for you. There’s no “right” way to belong to the Parent Association.

Awareness

Through our website, monthly eNewsletters and other communications; we’ll make sure you’re aware of important events throughout the school year. With your feedback we’ll work to provide you with timely resources that will help you and your family navigate the University experience.

Engagement

Your student is an integral part of the McKendree family – and you are too! Through involvement in the Parent Association you can make the University a better place for everyone. After hearing your ideas we’ll roll out a series of exciting volunteer initiatives!

Investment

The cost to educate our students far exceeds the tuition charged and your gifts to McKendree’s Parents Fund allow us to continue to provide outstanding educational, leadership and learning opportunities to each of our students.
