Need to work on group project?  Try using the brand new Collaborative Workstation that is available on the upper-level of the library.  The workstation will accommodate up to six(6) laptops.  So, just visit the library the next time you need to find a workspace for your group.

 

EBSCO Has Gone Mobile!

Do you have an iPhone or Android phone? Now EBSCO, the company that provides many of the databases you use for research, has a downloadable mobile app. That's right, you can search for articles from your phone. Simply download the app from the iTunes Store or Android Market, then access EBSCO from the Holman Library's website, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the authorization link which will send you an email, view this email on your device, then tap this authentication key. (Note: You must access the link in Step 2 from your device. The activation link will expire in 24 hours.). Questions? 2012 Illinois Emerging Writers Competition

Forms and guidelines for the competition will be made available in February 2012. The deadline to enter is June 30, 2012. Judging is blind and consists of three rounds.
