McKendree University is proud of its strong internship program.  The purpose of this program is to link classes and career together in order to create a positive learning outcome.  This program complements traditional coursework by providing students the opportunity to apply classroom theory and knowledge in the work environment, while receiving academic credit for the experience.  Feedback is very positive from employers and they find the program to be valuable for both parties.  Please read our Employer Letter for more information about our internship program.  If you are interested in becoming a participant in this program, please contact us or complete the Site Locator Form and return to Jennifer Pickerell at jkpickerell@mckendree.edu or 618.537.6523.  You are not required to host an intern each semester.  We will inform our students of the opportunity with your company/organization and place the listing in our internship binder.
