Under the direction and supervision of the Accounting Manager, serve MHS and MMC management by providing support of the general ledger application, by assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and other daily activities, including general office support, telephone coverage, and ordering office supplies, for the System and the Medical Center. Assure that established departmental deadlines are met as well as provide assistance and support to attain departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements: Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance or actively working towards Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least two years of college credit required. One year experience in accounting and/or related field preferred. Light typing ability with good working knowledge in use of 10-key calculator required. Proficient with personal computers and software (including Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point). Working knowledge of automated office equipment (fax, copy machine, etc.) required. Peachtree experience preferred, but not required. Ability to perceive overall system and operational concepts. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and excellent organizational and filing skills. Excellent written/verbal and interpersonal skills are required. Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills. Ability to handle confidential information in a responsible manner. Light to moderate physical effort.

Federal Career Intern Program (FCIP) – SB/SE Revenue Agents EAGER
EAGER Program (Excellent Applicants Get Early Recruitment offers) is a program that allows job offers to be made to students up to 9 months in advance of eligibility. Job offers will be tendered in January 2010 for an anticipated start date in June 2010. The candidate would be offered the position contingent upon the completion of educational requirements, passing background investigation and tax checks.
Requirements: In order to be eligible, applicants must expect to have a Bachelor's Degree or higher or the equivalent of a Bachelor’s Degree with 30 semester hours in accounting or 24 semester hours in accounting and 6 semester hours in business related courses completed by June 2010. In order to be considered, you must be a United States Citizen with a valid driver’s license. Candidates with a Spring 2010 graduation date will be considered first.
This position requires specific accounting knowledge. These include knowledge of principles, intermediate, cost, auditing and advanced accounting (or equivalent courses indicating complex accounting issues).
Foreign Education must be interpreted by a private U.S. credential evaluation service.

Equipment Service Center Supervisor
Supervise, train and develop assigned staff creating a team working environment. Ensure compliance with company and government required policies and procedures. Work with the shop team to meet safety goals.
Coordinate the inspection, maintenance and repair of linehaul equipment and/or supervise the rebuild of components and equipment repair. Ensure that repairs are timely for meeting system demands and for providing safe, reliable and driver acceptable equipment.
Duties: Ensure the efficient movement of inbound tractors, trailers and converters through the service lanes. Use computer inbound dispatch for determining manpower needs and ensure availability for completing assigned duties. Maintain required maintenance documentation. Coordinate the performance of maintenance on all equipment. Implement a cost effective preventative maintenance program providing for safe, clean, driver acceptable equipment. Supervise the repair of equipment ensuring timeliness in meeting system demands. Maintain inventory control on all repair parts and tools. Review repair orders for accurate listing and extension of repair parts, maintaining proper accountability of chargeable repair parts. Communicate, monitor and maintain compliance with company safety and work rules, policies, and procedures. Train and develop assigned staff for providing timely and quality repair. Ensure the shop safety process is followed. Effectively communicate safety topics and perform safety inspection of tools and facilities as required.
Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent; Basic technical knowledge of equipment mechanics; Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; Must be available to work any shift, including weekends and holidays; Must have a satisfactory record of previous employment. Preferred qualifications: Bachelors degree or college level course work; 2+ years supervisory experience or formal management training; Background/knowledge of equipment maintenance.
