McKendree Responds to Military Tuition Assistance Suspension with 25% Discount
Louisville & Radcliff, Ky. — In response to the federal government’s recent announcement
of the suspension of Military Tuition Assistance, McKendree University has taken immediate
action by offering a 25 percent tuition discount to those affected.
The suspension of TA took many by surprise and has caused a difficult situation for
those who wish to continue their education. In order to assist active duty military
members to stay in school, McKendree University is offering a 25 percent tuition discount
to those who lost this benefit through Sept. 30, 2013, unless tuition assistance is
reinstated before that time.

Military students may be eligible for the Montgomery G.I. Bill (Chapter 30) or the

at www.fafsa.gov. McKendree University’s school code 001722 must be listed on the FAFSA application
in order to process financial aid promptly.
