SCG Committee Duties & Responsibilities
Chairperson (or co-chairs)
• Serve as a liaison between SCG committee members and Coordinator of Annual Giving.
• Work with CAG to develop agendas for committee meetings.
• Lead 3 committee meetings during the course of each semester.
• Make a gift of at least $20.13 to the Annual Fund in honor of the SCG.
• Understand the importance of annual giving and philanthropy at McKendree.
• At any time be able to articulate at least 3 important reasons to support the
Annual Fund.
• Solicit 10 ("Pick 10") classmates to make a gift to the SCG.
• Donate at least 6 hours to either the Fall or Spring Phonathon.
• Attend all SCG events: kick-off event, Grad Fair, closing event, Senior Farwell
Service & Senior Dinner.
• Allow the Office of Development, Alumni and Parent Relations to use your name
on letters to graduating seniors for the purpose of soliciting gifts.
• Wear your SCG T-shirt with pride and encourage others to make their gift to the
SCG.
• Have fun and share your pride with others about helping shape McKendree’s future!
