Research Interests
 My research interests include poverty & homelessness, Caribbean culture, and service-learning.

Teaching Interests
 My main teaching interests include introductory sociology, sociology of gender, sociology of family, and social problems. Please check out my personal web page to learn more about my courses.

Professional Interests
 My professional interests focus on service-learning and volunteerism. My primary volunteer focus is working with individuals who are HIV positive. I recently joined the Board of Bethany Place, the major AIDS service provider in St. Clair County.
