My research interests include poverty & homelessness, Caribbean culture, and service-learning.
Teaching Interests
My main teaching interests include introductory sociology, sociology of gender, sociology

Professional Interests
My professional interests focus on service-learning and volunteerism. My primary volunteer
focus is working with individuals who are HIV positive. I recently joined the Board
of Bethany Place, the major AIDS service provider in St. Clair County.
