Jason Lheureux

 

Resident Director

 

Jason Lheureux serves as the Resident Director of Baker Hall.  Jason is originally from Plymouth, New Hampshire.  He has a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal Communications and before coming to McKendree, he worked at and attended Plymouth State University. He has also has worked as Camp Counselor and Professional Wedding Photographer.

 

Jason is a full-time student affairs professional who lives and works in the building. He is responsible for the overall operation of the building and assists staff in coordinating programs and activities as well as serving as a resource to students. He is also the advisor to the Student Government Association, assists the International Student Organization and works within Residence Life furthering Student Staff Development. He is also currently enrolled in the Masters of Professional Counseling program here at McKendree.

Resident Assistants are carefully selected full-time undergraduate students who live and work on each residence hall floor. Resident Assistants plan activities and programs for the floor community, enforce school policy, conduct monthly health and safety inspections, and report needed repairs. Resident Assistants are also good resources for students who are experiencing personal difficulties, since Resident Assistants are aware of campus services.

 

 

Mark Chapman

 

 

1st Floor Resident Assistant

 

Mark, a junior, is the first floor Resident Assistant for Baker Hall.  He is from Highland, Illinois, and is currently pursuing a bachelors of arts degree in biology. He also is a pitcher for the McKendree baseball team.

 

 

 

Jake Dorris

 

2nd Floor Resident Assistant 

 

Jake, a sophmore, the second floor Resident Assistant for Baker Hall. He is from West Frankfort, Illinois and is currently pursuing a bachelors degree in secondary education chemistry. He is also a founding member of the MCK running club.

 


 

Deanne Puloka

 

 

3rd Floor Resident Assistant 

 

Deanne, a junior, is the third floor Resident Assistant for Baker Hall. She is an international student from Lotoha'apai, in the Kingdom of Tonga. She is pursuing a bachelors degree in speech communication from McKendree and is also very active in the International Student Association.

 

The Community Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Resident Assistants in developing a positive learning community on the floor. The Community Coordinator is most concerned with your extracurricular involvement on campus.  The Community Coordinator will make sure maintenance issues are addressed in a timely manner.


  

 

Samie Hartman

 

 

Baker Hall Community Coordinator

 

Samie, a sophmore is the Community Coordinator for Baker Hall. She is origionally from Troy Illinois and is currently pursuing a degree from McKendree in pre-professional chemistry. She is also a member of the McKendree soccer team.
