LRC 101 READING SKILLS DEVELOPMENT (1) Provides practice in basic reading skills of comprehension and vocabulary development. Instruction is planned according to students’ individual needs as determined by placement testing and ongoing performance. The attainment of a 10.5 grade level in comprehension or a gain of three grade levels from entry into the course is required for a passing grade. This course is offered on a Pass/C-/D/Fail basis only. Each semester.
LRC 102 STUDY SKILLS DEVELOPMENT (1) A practical review of successful learning methods including techniques of time management, note-taking, reading comprehension and examination performance. Each semester.
