E-Bill
Electronic Billing is coming soon!
The Business Office is pleased to announce the implementation of an electronic billing and payment solution for McKendree University students. We believe this will streamline the student billing process, reduce costs and eliminate excessive paper handling for the University. More importantly, it will also help to meet the growing expectation of students and their families for online payment services as well as provide them an accurate, current and secure statement of the student account that is available anytime they wish to see it.
Important benefits and services provided by McKendree’s electronic billing website include:
- Student’s ability to authorize other users (such as parents) to view and make payments toward their account
- E-mail notice of delivery of new statements for viewing by the student and other authorized users
- Ability to view up to 12 months of previous statements
- Ability to view payment history and other postings to the student account
- Payment by electronic check and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Card)
- Automatic and immediate posting of payments to the student account
- Service availability 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Of course, students still have the option of bringing or sending payment directly to the Business Office, but we will encourage you to take advantage of these new online service.
We will be phasing in the McKendree e-bill program beginning with the 2008 Summer and 2008 Fall terms, and expect complete implementation of the online billing and payment system to be in place by the 2009 Spring-semester.
