Welcome graduates, family members, faculty and staff to the Commencement ceremonies.
McKendree University recognizes the importance of graduation day and strives to ensure
that everyone enjoys their experience. We hope you continue to challenge yourself
through your lifelong aspirations. You will always have a friend in McKendree University.
We are honored to celebrate your accomplishments.
As everyone prepares for the celebration, McKendree University has provided information
to assist you and your families along the way. The Commencement information on this
page pertains to graduation ceremonies at the Kentucky Campuses only.
Participation in Commencement
Students who complete degree requirements as of August 31, 2012 or December 31, 2012
are invited to participate in the Commencement ceremony held this June (for example,
if you graduate in August or December, 2012 you may attend Commencement in May, 2013).
Students who complete requirements in May should plan to attend the June ceremony
in the year in which they graduate (May, 2013 graduates may participate in the June,
2013 ceremony.)
Graduation Information for ALL Students
All students must apply for graduation the semester before you plan to complete program requirements
(see dates below). You must apply to graduate even if you do not intend to participate in the June Commencement
ceremony. You may apply earlier than the deadlines posted below.
Graduation Application Deadlines
• August applications are due on March 31 Apply Now (Kentucky Campuses)
• December applications are due on June 30 Apply Now (Kentucky Campuses)
Graduation Dates
McKendree awards degrees three times a year on the following dates: May 31, August
31, and December 31. If you complete coursework earlier in the term, your degree
will not be posted until the end of the term. Diplomas will be mailed the same week the degree
is conferred provided all accounts with the University are clear.
