The primary goal of McKendree is be an exceptional teaching institution.  To assist that aim we hire the best possible teachers and instructors.  In addition, we have a variety of faculty development initiatives to further develop the teaching potential of all faculty members.

McKendree University Teaching for Excellence workshops occur each August, January, and May.  The August and January workshops are typically the Tuesday before the first day of the acadmic semester.  The May meeting is usually the Tuesday following graduation.
