Waitlist Policy
If you wish to pre-register for a closed class, you may choose to place yourself on a waitlist. Placing yourself on a waitlist does not guarantee enrollment in the class. The waitlist will be based on the order of registration. If space becomes available, students on the waitlist will be allowed to register in the order they appear on the waitlist. When space becomes available, the Office of Academic Records will place students in the class and contact students at their McKendree e-mail address. If you no longer want the waitlisted course, you must complete an add/drop form to drop the course.
If you are on a waitlist, you are not officially enrolled in the class and should not attend class.
If you choose to place yourself on a waitlist and you do not hear from the Office of Academic Records, you may assume the class remains full. If you need to replace the waitlisted class with another class, it is your responsibility to do so by the last day to add classes for the semester.
McKendree University reserves the right to withdraw any course in which sufficient numbers do not enroll, or where circumstances develop which make it infeasible to offer the course.
Students will be notified if a course for which they are enrolled is cancelled.
