BSN Articulation Agreements

McKendree University has developed articulation agreements with several community colleges throughout Illinois. This enrollment program provides a seamless transition for nursing students into McKendree's BSN program. Students who meet McKendree's admission requirements can enroll concurrently in specific coursework toward the BSN degree and are assured of transfer credits into McKendree's BSN program upon successful passing of the NCLEX-RN exam. ADN program graduates from the community colleges listed below are eligible for a 10% discount per credit hour beginning in the Fall of 2015. The discount is maintained as long as the student is continuously enrolled.

Each community college has a specific matrix for transfer of credits. It is best to review the matrix with a McKendree representative. McKendree representatives may be reached at 1-800-BEARCAT, ext. 6576. Partnering community colleges include:

Illinois Eastern Community College

John A. Logan College

Kaskaskia College

Rend Lake College

Shawnee Community College

Southeastern Illinois College

Southwestern Illinois College

The table below indicates the typical course requirements. Some students may have previous bachelor level course work that will adjust these requirements. Contact a McKendree representative to discuss your individual circumstance at 1-800-BEARCAT, ext. 6576.
