Things to Do Before
Please follow the guideline below to make your graduation process as easy as possible.

Things to do before Graduation!
 
 
?       Since you will be completing your degree requirements as of May 31, 2008, you are invited to participate in the commencement ceremony in May, 2008. The ceremony will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, May 10. Further details will be distributed later in the term and posted on our web page (http://www.mckendree.edu/academics/gradinformation.aspx).
 
?       Your student account must be paid in full (including the graduation fee) before you will be allowed to participate in Commencement, have your name printed in the Commencement program, or have your degree verified in any way. In addition, no transcript or diploma can be released until your student account is paid in fullTo have your name printed in the Commencement Program, your account must be clear by 5 PM on March 17, 2008.
 
?       Caps and Gownsmust be ordered online at www.herffjones.com/college/graduation. Your regalia will be delivered directly to you. Please note that you must order a cap, gown, and hood in order to participate in the ceremony. Since we are changing providers this year, you cannot borrow an old one from a friend.
 
?       Graduation announcements can be ordered online at www.herffjones.com/college/graduation and a representative from Herff Jones will be on campus in the bookstore on March 3 and 4 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
 
?       If you took out loans while attending McKendree College, you will receive a letter from the Office of Financial Aid concerning loan exit counseling. This is a federal requirement that must be completed upon graduation. Please read and follow the directions carefully. If you have questions, please contact the Financial Aid Office at 537-6828.
 
?       Career Services will be holding several events that you are encouraged to attend. Please register your resume with the Career Services Office. Employers may access your resume on-line through the Career Center. Remember to stop by Career Services, Clark Hall 104, or call 537-6806 for your job search assistance.
 
?       Please stop by Health Services (Clark Hall) to obtain a copy of your Immunization Record for future use.
 
?       If you live in College housing, you must complete the proper check-out paperwork with their Resident Assistant and turn in your keys to avoid any charges.
 
?           Yearbooks are on sale. Please contact Jeff Campbell at 537-6813 to purchase your senior yearbook. You will also be able to order them on Senior Day. They will be distributed in August 2008.
