Certain courses are placed in more than one area. For example Education (EDU) 350 is the same as Psychology (PSY) 350. Please register for the area in which you need credit. If you have a question, please consult with your advisor.
  
·         Physical Education Courses:
 
DIRECTIONS TO OFF-CAMPUS PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASSES:
DP Golf Center (Clinton Hills Golf Course): Take 50E to O’Fallon and turn left onto Hartman Lane. Turn right at Frank Scott Parkway. Turn left at Old Collinsville Road. The golf course is about a mile down on the left side.
St. Clair Bowl: Take 50E to Old Collinsville Road. Turn left on Old Collinsville Road. St. Clair Bowl is on the left. Please Note: The first day of Bowling class will meet in MPCC, not at St. Clair Bowl.
  
·         Education Courses:
 
With the exception of EDU-115, EDU-210, EDU-329, EDU-350, and EDU-358, admission to the Teacher Education Program is a prerequisite for all Education courses.

·         Music Courses:
 
Concert Choir, Concert Band, and A Capella Ensemble (Cantori) may be taken either for 0 or 1 credit.  Music majors and minors MUST take these courses for a grade.
 
Private lessons are available in voice, piano, organ, harpsichord, woodwind, brass and percussion instruments. Contact Dr. Ypma regarding course numbers and specific prerequisites. There is an additional fee of $165.00 per credit hour for all private lessons.
 
All private music lessons (voice and instrument) require Dr. Nancy Ypma’s signature. Please see Dr. Ypma and go to the Office of Academic Records after your scheduled registration time to be registered.
  
·         ROTC Courses:
 
Air Force: All Air Force ROTC courses include a laboratory component that meets on Wednesdays from 06:00pm to 08:00 pm. Please be sure to take these labs into consideration when planning your schedule. For precise class times and locations or further information, please call 1-888-AFROTC.
 
Army: 100 & 200 level classes are held at Southwestern Illinois College. 300 & 400 level classes are held at SIU-E. For more information call 650-2500 or visit the Army ROTC home page on McKendree’s web site at www.mckendree.edu/ROTC.
 
 
·         Scott Air Force Base Courses:
 
If taking a Scott class, please contact the Scott office at 256-2006 prior to each month’s class for classroom assignments, textbook sales, and course syllabus. One-month accelerated courses normally have assignments due on the first night of class. Textbooks must be purchased at Scott AFB, not at the campus bookstore. We do not accept cash for book sales, but will be happy to take your check, credit card, or money order. Also, some Scott classes may be held on campus. Please check with the Scott office for your classroom location.
