What We Do: We are a service-oriented constituency of
McKendree
dedicated to the support of all academic and administrative functions of the college through the use of Information Technology. We are committed to continually strive, innovate and improve the quality of information-technology services at
McKendree
in a fiscally responsible manner.
We encourage the use of information technology for academic purposes at
McKendree
. We promote communication and collaboration on information-technology issues across campus. We provide leadership in the legal and ethical uses of information technology; new technology architectures; and coordination of and education about campus-wide information-technology security.
Our areas of direct responsibility can be summarized in broad terms as the following:
1. Network Infrastructure Maintenance, 2. Software and Hardware Resource Management, and 3. Administrative Database Support.
